Diving
Diving – whether scuba or snorkeling – is among the most popular water sports for energetic visitors, and Surin Island, part of Mu Ko Surin National Marine Park, is one of the best dive spots in the world. Come and experience it for yourself in this charming and pristine heaven-on-earth. Find your way to new dive destinations, and discover this fascinating and untouched corner of the Andaman.

Snorkeling
Snorkeling at Ko Surin is unlike any other place. Usually seen only by deep-sea scuba-divers, the brilliant rainbow-colored soft coral is quite common here just 2-3 meters below the surface.  The Andaman Sea is also home to magnificent wildlife: scleractinian, or stony coral like staghorn, and carpets of beautiful sea anemone, are here in abundance. The diverse marine life and fish to be seen include several types of moray eel, colorful nudibranchs (sea slugs), huge porcupine fish, schools of pelagic fish like clownfish and groupers, schools of jacks, lobsters and serrated mud crab, and many more. This exquisite natural ecosystem that is where you will discover the true meaning of environmentally conscious ecotourism, and learn how to protect our natural resources for future generations with an enduring conservation program. Recommended snorkeling spots include Hin Raab or Hin Kong, Ko Fire Wap or Ko Stork, Ao Jaak, Ao Suthep, Ao Tao, Ao PakKaad, and Richelieu Rock.

Scuba Diving
Scuba diving can be quite an impressive recreational activity. No deeper than 15 meters under the sea you will enjoy the bountiful marine life that thrives amidst this timeless natural beauty, including rainbow-colored soft coral, underwater caves, sea fans, schools of barracuda, puffer fish, moray eels, jack fish, Kuhl’s stingray (the blue-spotted stingray), batfish, colorful nudibranchs, stonefish, reef lobsters, schools of lionfish, groupers and snapper, decorator crabs, scaly giant clams, and sometimes even seahorses, sea turtles, and humphead parrotfish, as well as many other species.
For those who only have experience with snorkeling, we offer effective, hands-on “Discover SCUBA” dive lessons that provide a quick-and-easy introduction to diving in shallow water under the direct supervision of a qualified Instructor.
